Post T56 rebuild time - Suggestions?
So my trans is worn out, having issues with the 2-3 shift.

Any recommendations? I was told G-force. Their prices seem awefully high, but they said good to 1200HPs. Don't think I need that much?

1) Build it

D&D is where I think Glenn took his. There they made a deal with devil, sacrificed a few chickens and that thing has taken some serious abuse.

hanlon motorsports is where I had mine done he is local and really good to deal with. He is just outside Reading. And of course there is the other option of doing it yourself, they are not that hard to rebuild. I rebuilt mine a couple times when I knocked 3rd gear out. I took it to him to have the viper output upgrades. Cost me $2200. For new output, 2nd and 3rd gears and all new bearings and slider hubs with bronze fork pads and there was something else just can't remember what it was. I am extremely happy with it too, I am able to flat shift it at 7800.

If your interested in doing it yourself give me a call I can help you out,

Just to update. I did go to Hanlon. SUPER nice guy. Actually turned out we had a few common friends.

So the trans was in good shape, just some parts wearing after years of use. I ended up getting allot done, one of those So you got it apart might as well.............

Upgraded input shaft, 1-4 gears, bronze syncs, steel pins, forks, "viper" shaft - etc etc.

He actually bought my old parts, said he could always use them if someone wanted to do a trans stock and you can't you parts like the input shaft.

Just need to do a new DS and I'll be ready!

Well,

if I can hit my shifts now, I might get past the buy-back round so hoping for 12.25 miles. :grin

last year on more then one occasion I'd be .02x reaction, miss 3rd, or be .08xRT, and couldn't get there....

worst of all, having to go back into the tower and get abused by Bobby. I have to be ready to grudge race his Hellcat now!
