Post LS1 fuel system in a third gen
Working on swapping in a 4th Gen tank and fuel system into the GTA, I have most of it figured out but had one question I'm not sure about and wondered if any of you had any insight. My question is fuel pressure, is it controlled by the PCM or is it mechanically regulated? trying to figure out if I am going to have to add an external adjustable regulator to turn the fuel pressure down to SBC standards or if, once the OBD II is installed, it can be done with the PCM by adjusting fuel flow?

Mechanically regulated... as it should stay.

It depends on what pressure you want to run at. The stock regulator is in the tank itself, so if you're getting the tank with sender assembly all together, you'd have the stock regulator.

Pretty sure the LS1 runs at about 60 PSI, I'm going to need at the most 40 or so

Does anyone know if this particular fitting will work on the plastic fittings on an LS1 fuel pump? Trying to work out some plumbing and if I can find a quick connect that will work it will make my life infinitely easier
