Post Hello everyone
Hi, I know Greg and Harold from a different forum but I am new to this forum.

First of all I am a student at PCT going for an associates in collision repair technology (auto body) haha and a bachelors in Business Technology Management. If you ever have any body or paint questions feel free to ask away! Also if you need any polishing done hit me up! :thumb

My F body is a 1996 WS6 T top 6 speed.

Picked the car up from a guy after I repainted the bumper for him last summer. Paid 5k for it which I felt was a decent price since I've always wanted one. He thought it had a blown head gasket :screwy

My current mods are:
Hooker longtubes
No cats
SLP exhaust with 2 resonators (bye bye raspy sound)
Underdrive pulley
AC gone with delete pulley
de-screened MAF
KN filter in stock ram air box
Hurst shifter
Upgraded clutch
Holley 52mm throttle body
Hotchkis front strut brace
Harwood fiberglass hood
Hypertech III tuned
Aluminum driveshaft
Electric water pump
New radiator not that it matters but the old one leaked like a bastard.
2-12" slim fans

Car has all the red gone now as well as the trans am window banner.
Also I am going to buff it and rewax it next weekend.

Enjoy!

Yes, well they are actually little chrome SLP badges not stickers. Why do you ask?

Welcome Kevin...
I remember you from the Darkboost board... I stop by there now and then to see what childish antics are happening. LOL. I'm AWDfury over there...

Nice car BTW...

Tom

Welcome, Kevin. You'll find that this place is a bit different than Darkboost as the main focus is actually car talk, but there's still the required Harold bashing.

haha Yeah I was glad there was car talk here not just drama like DB.

I have been working on the car lately.
Also just bought a forged rotating assembly.

Scat 4340 3.48" crank
Eagle H beam 434 rods
-24 dish SRP .30 pistons.

Need some boost now!

Post Re: Hello everyone
Well I ended up selling that 355 rotating assembly I had pieced together. Just bought a forged 385 shortblock.

It is made up of

Cola 4340 3.75" forged crank
SRP 4032 24cc .040 over dish pistons
Eagle 4340 6" H beam rods
Balanced and torque plate honed.
All ARP hardware
:grin

Getting disassembled to put splayed 4 bolt main caps on then its time to start getting some parts around so I can put this thing in this winter/spring.

Planning to add boost down the road.

Wow, that must have cost a pretty penny with a Cola crank.
