I really like that car. I am very jealous. I am hoping to have a new car by this fall. It should be fun.

Post Re: Harner, you SUCK!
After driving this for a week, and numerous 20-60mph pulls (and a 60-100mph last night - wow), I must say this car is amazing from a performance standpoint. The auto makes the LSA feel a little sluggish, but once it finds the gear, it will pull like a freight train and suck you into the seat. It has a CAI now, going in for a tune in a month or two and I'll use that as a baseline. Near-term mods are pulley, ZL1 lid, catch can, and some other odds and ends. Everything has the Cadillac tax (you 'Vette guys know the pain), so justifying a $3000 exhaust system is tough.

Now, the cons. In all the reviews I have watched, very little talk about cons on this car. Everyone knows the Recaro's are stiff and uncomfortable for long trips (I have stock seats) and yadda yadda, but here are my only cons thus far:

- Bluetooth audio. This wasn't in the cards for the V2 due to using a different bus versus the 5th gens and other MyLink vehicles. Well, when you've been using Bluetooth to stream audio for YEARS and then buy a newish Caddy that doesn't support anything behind bluetooth/hands free calling, it is frustrating. I'm still on the fence if I want to use a Bluetooth USB or aux adapter or use the internal HDD. The internal HDD is fine since I don't like to burn data by streaming from Pandora/etc, but then if I use a GPS the audio won't play over the car speakers.

- Entertainment center/touch screen. The designers/engineers made it a point to put the traction control button on the steering wheel, yet made the stereo overly complex to maneuver around. It takes a little getting used to, but I still find myself thinking "WTF, how do I get back to that?" Simple things like voice recognition to configure bluetooth on a phone is way too complex.

Otherwise, the controls just work. All electronics work. The car is solid, the trans will hold north of 650rwhp (somehow), and a handful of mods will make the car pretty damn quick. I don't plan on getting crazy, but I do see a cam and typical bolt ons in my future. Also, appearance mods are a must.

Wow, that is REALLY surprising. Personally, I'd do a nice proclipusa.com bracket, a RAM mount to hold your phone, and then keep a 3.5mm & charging cable accessible nearby. That should give you the best sound quality.

Sounds like the infotainment system was outsourced to Subaru! :lmao4

Post Re: Harner, you SUCK!
I had a Proclip pedestal mount and holder in my Camaro. The holder had a charger (via cig lighter), as well. I can reuse the holder and get the CTS mount, but still on the fence as my phone is huge (LG V10).

I don't like the idea of wires, but an aux cable *is* the best option. I still might cave and get a bluetooth USB adapter and use that instead.

Still, I can tolerate the cup holder cell-storage for a while, but no BT audio or even recognizing my phone via USB is madness LOL.
