Post Merry Christmas Motor City
Just wanted to drop a line to anyone that still inspects this page and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my family to yours!

I understand that most of us have become responsible adults ( :banghead ) and have left our wild days behind. Or at least put them on the back burner.

Personally, I'm hoping to meet up with some and enjoy the good times we use to have. The jokes, the conversations, the cruising, and of course the cars.

I hope everyone has been well and continues to be!

~Cy

Merry christmas to you too, Chris.

My days of hoping for camshafts for Christmas have been replaced by watching the kids freak out over the new Troll movie and singing and dancing Mickey Mouse, but the car is still sitting in the garage. I guess that leaves Glenn and I as the only ones still holding on. One of these days, if there's ever money leftover from buying fishing gear or stuff for the boat, I'll get back at it. Hoping to someday turn some wrenches with the the kids on it.

I understand that one Greg! I have a little girl and another baby on the way. TV is basically glued to Disney. Along with the explosion of toys littered across the house where car parts used to rest... lol

I have a 99z now for my daily. My old IROC and picked up a TA this past summer are on hold and seems to be the safest place for them right now. No time or money for them but they are not costing me anything either so I haven't given up just yet. I also hope that turning wrenches and teaching them about car is in my future. Show them that getting your hands dirty is perfectly fine.

Merry Christmas.

Santa didn't bring me any car parts either, not sure if that is a good thing or not?

I was home for the first time since 2011 for Xmas, so that was plenty.

John, that all depends on if you have broken anything in the last year or are you still fighting that car?

Nick, glad to hear you finally got a Christmas at home. Couldn't imagine that many years not being home for it. Hats off to ya for doing what your doing!

Harner, one of these days we will actually meet! Dust off our mullets and let irocs eat! Lmao

Merry Christmas everyone! I miss the Christmas get together. It was a fun ride home the last time we met. I had the Datsun 240z and Harner had his TBSS. I just remember finding out how bad my summer tires were in the cold December air! Good times.

I think I'm finally past the fight. Did allot to it over the spring/summer. I had the trans rebuilt/upgraded, rebuilt the clutch, and FINALLY have a 12 bolt. and installed the 11" rims with the Nitto NT01s ( replaced the fronts that had plenty of tread, but we dry rot. LOL! .

Worked on the tune allot this summer while breaking everything in, at the end of the season I was really happy with how it was running on the street, and I made a few easy passes that I still need to tweak the tune a bit, but I like the way it's running.

Actually put over 600 miles on it in 2016. That totals more then the past 5 years!

Maybe next year we'll have time to meet up with a group... 2016 was a busy year and hopefully 2017 will slow down a bit.

Happy new year!

That is awesome to hear. I hope I can come see it run or get a chance to do a little cruising with you this year!
