Post LSX parts
As most of you know I keep an Ebay store up and running with mostly LSX parts so i am going to post it up here to make it accessible. If yousee something you want ask me before you buy it, might be able to give a little better deal on some of the stuff.

http://stores.ebay.com/LSX-auto-parts

Have a bunch of parts off of some car/truck motors I took as cores and am parting out. Pictures are available in my Ebay store and I prefer purchases through the store to make keeping track of items easier, but am more then happy to deal on here also. Some of the photos in the store are just generic pictures I use so if you need pics of an exact item let me know but it is all in pretty similar condition. If you don't see it listed in the store please ask, I haven't had a chance to list everything yet. Shipping is NOT included

I'm likely going to need a pair of centerbolt valve covers... Shit, probably means I'll need coil brackets too.

valve covers won't be a problem, but I don't get many car coil brackets.

As soon as I get back from my trip I am going to go get another engine, I'll hold the valve coveers and coil pack bracket bolts for you .

Looks like I got a set of valve covers with the heads, so I might not need them.. but I'll let you know in a day or 2 when they come in if I don't like the black powdercoated look..

Will the coils packs and valve covers work with an ls1 shortblock? I have some 241s for it.

Thanks :)

The valve covers, yes (some different PCV routing may be needed, but nothing major). My truck coils (from an '04 5.3) hit the fuel rail fitting, so we went back to the '98 car coils.

Which truck coils did you have? Square or round, the round (high energy) ones should fit, the spark plug wire comes out the bottom of the coil instead of on the side. Harner if you want to give them a shot I can bring a set down for you.

I dunno. All I know is, the damn things don't work with a LS1/6 fuel rail.

Not that it really matters.. those tired old "crappy" '98 coils still pull clean to 7,000rpm..

Hey, I'll take one of those coolant temp sensors. Mine has been broken at the connector for years now and I wanted to get a new one. I'll snag it from you this weekend.

Do you happen to have any of the little clips that hold the wiring harness for the coil packs onto the coil pack brackets?
